Introduction To Biblical Time
Acts 20:7, Did God Change the Sabbath to Sunday?
“Sunday is the Lord's Day!” This is the claim exclaimed throughout Christianity.
While the Roman Catholic Church recognizes the Bible clearly marks the seventh day of the week, our Saturday as the biblical Sabbath, past church leadership made a determination that Sunday is the Lord’s Day based on the unbiblical fallacy that Christ rose on Sunday. The only place in Scripture where the Lord’s Day is mentioned is found in Revelation.
Why is the calendar important?
The biblical calendar stands as the only factual proof of the Bible in existence and rises above any religious organization. It reveals the accurate flow of time from the re-creation of the earth to the present day, aligning the movement of the earth, moon, and sun with God’s original design for measuring time. By studying God’s calendar, we gain a deeper understanding of prophecy, history, and the divine order of time itself.
How do you know it's accurate?
This calendar shows that the sacred chronology of Scripture is not based on human observation, which can be limited or flawed, but on the divine precision of the celestial bodies God created. The record of the Noachian Flood in Genesis, describing a 385-day year, confirms this design and provides clear evidence that the Hebrew Calendar bears God’s own approval.
